Cookie Dough Fundraiser Kick-Off! Students will receive their fundraiser packets Tuesday, September 2nd in the gym during 1st - 3rd period. Money and order forms are due Tuesday, September 16. Thank you for supporting our Stallions and Morris MS!

Parents/Guardians:

We are excited about the 2025-2026 school year on Thursday, August 14, 2025. We hope everyone had a great summer break and is ready for a great year. Here are a few reminders that will help everything run a little smoother on Thursday:

• You can drop-off/pick-up your child using the circle drive along Trenton or Main Street. Please have students exit their vehicles on the right side of vehicle.
• Stallion Drive is a designated Bus Lane.
• The Campus will open at 7:00 a.m. 
• From 7:00 – 7:45 am students must wait in the cafeteria. Please remind your child to report to the cafeteria when you drop them off in the morning if it is before 7:45.
• The first bell to report to class and begin the school day rings at 7:45 a.m. Students should report to their first period class at this time to eat breakfast and get ready for the day.

• House Bill 1481 requires students to put away all Bluetooth telecommunication devices between 7:45 am and 4:05 pm. All devices such as phones, smartwatches, and Bluetooth headphones must be off and stored in the student’s backpack from 7:45 am – 4:05 pm.

• Instruction begins when the tardy bell rings at 8:00 am.
• After 8:00 a.m. the front doors to the school will be locked and all students and visitors must report to the front office entrance.
• School ends at 4:05 p.m. All walkers and car riders are released through the front doors. Please designate an area for your child to wait, if you are picking them up after school. Students may walk around the front of the building to meet you on 16th Street.
• Boys and Girls club Members will meet from 4:05pm - 6:00pm. Check out must be confirmed with Sponsors via text/phone call. More information will be provided to members shortly. 
• Please remind students to verify their first period class on Skyward before school.
• Don’t forget to bring your backpack and charged chrome book.

Estamos entusiasmados con el inicio del año escolar 2025-2026 el jueves 14 de agosto de 2025. Esperamos que todos hayan tenido unas excelentes vacaciones de verano y estén listos para un año excelente. Aquí les dejamos algunos recordatorios para que todo transcurra mejor el jueves:

• Pueden dejar y recoger a sus hijos usando la rotonda de Trenton o Main Street. Por favor, pídanles que salgan de sus vehículos por el lado derecho.
• Stallion Drive es un carril exclusivo para autobuses.
• El campus abrirá a las 7:00 a. m.
• De 7:00 a 7:45 a. m., los estudiantes deben esperar en la cafetería. Por favor, recuérdenles a sus hijos que se presenten en la cafetería cuando los dejen por la mañana si es antes de las 7:45 a. m.
• El primer timbre para ingresar a clase y comenzar la jornada escolar suena a las 7:45 a. m. Los estudiantes deben presentarse a su primera clase a esta hora para desayunar y prepararse para el día.

• El Proyecto de Ley 1481 de la Cámara de Representantes exige que los estudiantes guarden todos sus dispositivos de telecomunicaciones Bluetooth entre las 7:45 a. m. y las 4:05 p. m. Stallions! If your student is taking an Accelerated Math, Algebra or Geometry course, we will be holding informational meetings on Monday Aug. 11th 5:30 - 6:00 pm(Accelerated and Algebra Courses) and Tuesday Aug. 12th 5:15-5:45 pm (Geometry) in the Morris Cafeteria.

Attention INCOMING 6TH GRADE STALLIONS! Join us for our Morris Middle School STALLION CAMP! Walk your schedule, meet your teachers, make new friends and experience what it means to be a STALLION! Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 9:00-11:30AM (Breakfast from 8:30-8:55AM) There will also be a Parent Informational Meeting for our new stallions from 11:00-11:30AM. See you there!

Join us for our final day of enrollment verification and schedule pick up! All grades 6-8 may attend. Tuesday August 5th 8:30 am - 11:00 am or 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. At Morris Middle School. See you there!

Come out and volunteer and bring your donations. Suggested items are: dry goods, toiletries, emergency cleaning supplies, and gift cards. Together we can fill a bus from Morris MS!! See you there!
